NYC Irish Gaeltacht will cater for absolute beginners as well as students that have some previous knowledge of the Irish language.

Classes will aim to focus on both oral and written language and aim to develop basic Irish language skills.

All classes are designed to be enjoyable but educational and relevant for the students.

All classes will be taught by experienced, suitably qualified staff.

Apart from the Irish language, we will also offer lessons in Irish history and folklore as well as concentrating on a more practical element covering aspects of Irish music and Gaelic Football.

We encourage students to bring musical instruments, dancing shoes or sports gear with them. There will be plenty of opportunities to put them to use during the course.

Some activities may take place outside the general classrooms and may be located in the school sports hall or local park.

Students are requested to bring their own packed lunch with them each day as there will be no catering facilities available.
